Community Appreciation Pancake Breakfast and Open House

Robins Fire Department will be holding its Community Appreciation Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 20th from 7:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.  In recognition of the community’s support of the fire department, there is no charge for the breakfast. Free will donations will be accepted that will be applied toward a planned UTV project to benefit community emergency response.

“Please join us for pancakes, eggs, and sausage, as well as a chance to meet members of your fire department, and see the equipment used to keep your community safe,” said Chief Brian Boots

The UTV project is for the purchase of an off-road utility vehicle with capability of patient transport.  This will allow us to better serve the community by providing access and transport of patients in areas where we cannot otherwise gain access with an emergency vehicle, such as the various parks or the cedar valley nature trail. The UTV would also strengthen emergency response during grass fires, after severe storms and during lost child calls. Available area grants are also being applied for to support the UTV project. An example UTV will be on display during the breakfast.
